Before starting the decoration, get your cake cool properly

If you are in the baking business or regularly bake in your kitchen, you are simply aware of this fact that a cool cake is ideal for cake decoration. Generally, it is best to give the time of a whole night to your cake to get properly dry and set in itself. But in emergency as you have to complete an urgent order or your cake base has been spoiled accidently, you don’t have this time; here are some easy techniques to cool your cake base faster and without any stress and fear of breakage:

• Usually what you will do in the rush time, bake a cake, bring it out and starch it. It's wrong, let be in the oven for a while.
• When you can feel the nice aroma of completely baked cake in your kitchen, off the oven but let it rest in it. Now bring it out and place on your counter for 10-15 minutes.
• The cake base is still hot inside and it’s time to shift it in the fridge. In about 15 minutes it is cool enough to touch and stretch out.
• The cake at this condition is quite perfect for eating right this way, but if you need a right base of decoration, you need more cool yet a moist cake. To maintain the moisture, it is ideal to wrap the cake while it is still in the pan and let it placed in the fridge.
• One or one and half-an-hour is quite enough time for this purpose and afterwards is time to bring the pan out from the fridge. You should use a sharp knife to get your cake firmly out from the pan. In this way, you shall get a perfect base for your cake decoration, even if you are in a hurry.
