Give your cupcake a personalized touch with a monogram design

When the cupcakes are baked and decorated to be served in a special event or to gift a very adorable someone, some personalized touch can add a mind blowing presentation. A simple yet effective, personalized punch will result in a great “wow” from your guests and loved ones.  Placing monogram on the top of a cupcake is a simpler but sometimes tricky task to be done sometimes. Here are some tips to use this stream of edible decoration in a convenient and impressive way.
     • Piping: It is the oldest and simplest technique to make a monogram on a cake with use of icing tubes. Any king of the medium can be filled in the icing tubes as royal icing, butter-cream icing, white or dark chocolate and sometimes fruit jam.
     • Painting:  Here, the food colors are mixed with vodka and applied over the iced surface by using the paint brush. You can write, draw or make some simple patterns like polka dots or Cris-cross over a cupcake.
    • Fondant letter cutters: In the market, there are many fondant cutters which are available in the different font sizes and designs.just roll the fondant to obtain the required thickness a punch the fondant cutter over it, the text is ready to be attached over the cupcake and for further detailing.
    •  Hand molded fondant text: if you have plenty of time and you like to mold the tiny pipes of fondant, it is the best way to show your creativity. Take small pieces of fondant, roll them, then mold them in a desired shape and before it gets dry, put it over the cupcake with the help of gum paste. A small personalized edible masterpiece is ready to be served.
