Give your cake a pleasant shot of alcohol

Alcohol is always a party popper and nowadays if  it is the matter of some really exotic cake flavors no one can deny the taste and appetizing appeal of a rum cake or chocolate cake with beer. Pairing alcohol with some really nice cake flavors is enough to make your dinner dessert memorable as  a legend. There is no comparison of the red wine cake with the punch of dark chocolate decoration over it. Here are some tips to help you in creating some mysterious and exiting alcohol infused sweet delights:
  • Prefer the classic cocktails: it is smart choice to play safe and use the popular  blends of cocktails that are familiar to the taste buds. For example, the recipe of fine ivory Russian cake contains cream, vodka and coffee liqueur.  
  • Go with a classic pairing: It is the theory that the classic pairing of alcohol always work well everywhere, either in the beverage or as a cake recipe. If you are serving a triple Sec drink poured with Irish cream and coffee liqueur, it will be best complemented with the cupcakes containing the coffee liqueur, soaked in Triple Sec and topped with Irish cream butter-cream and tiny chocolate decorations.
  •  Get inspired: always look for inspiration to get new blends of cocktails or alcohol plus traditional flavors from your surroundings. While you like to eat sour cheese or salted nuts with beer so you can try this combination in your cake or muffin also.
